“Going Green” is going beyond what automakers produce to how they do it.  Bentley Motors has achieved carbon neutral certification for its factory headquarters in Crewe, England.  The certification comes from the Carbon Trust.  Bentley’s green efforts include installing 10,000 solar panels.  It’s quite a transformation for a factory which consists of parts dating back to the 1940s.

Like many automakers, electrification is becoming a bigger part of Bentley vehicles.  The British brand recently launched a plug-in hybrid… the Bentayga Hybrid.  They plan to have hybrid variants of all models by 2023.  The first fully electric Bentley is scheduled to arrive as a 2025 model.
