The Honda Clarity made its global debut at the Tokyo Auto Show. The Clarity is a fuel cell vehicle that uses electricity to generate power to the vehicles motor.

The Clarity Fuel Cell is a refreshed FCX Clarity with a 33% smaller fuel cell stack that turns hydrogen into electricity. The small fuel cell stack also produces the electricity 66% faster, according to the Detroit Free Press. The Clarity Fuel Cell is more powerful with 174 horsepower. It is expected to provide a range of more than 300 miles and can be refilled in about three minutes. The Clarity will be built in small volumes initially in Japan. Honda will begin leasing the Clarity for around $64,000 spring 2016.
