Toyota has recently released a series of new trims and packages for their most popular models, and now the 2023 Sienna minivan is receiving a similar treatment.

The Sienna 25th Anniversary Edition celebrates a quarter century of Toyota’s minivan success, with just 2,525 units available in the US. It will be based on the Sienna’s XSE trim, bringing in bespoke stylistic features inside and out, as well as some more luxurious cabin amenities from the Limited grade.

Some of those exterior adjustments are easy to spot, like the available 20-inch five-spoke wheels; other changes are less apparent, like the blacked out badging and standard roof rails. The mirror caps and shark fin antenna were also finished in black, contrasting the two available paint options: Celestial SIlver and Wind Chill Pearl.

The aforementioned roof rails come with the XSE Plus Package, a standard on the anniversary model. Said package also includes a JBL premium sound system, wireless charging and a 1500-watt converter. Another takeaway from the XSE is the sport tuned suspension.

The cabin’s upgrades are largely borrowed from the more expensive Limited trim, throwing in black leather seating with silver contrast stitching, heated and ventilated memory seats upfront, illuminated door sills, and a memory steering column. The interior is finished off with special “25th Anniversary” floor mats.

The Toyota Sienna entered the US market in 1998, with its current fourth-generation launching in 2020. It’s unclear when the 2023 Sienna Anniversary Edition will open up for orders; but we suspect the pricing to fall somewhere between the XSE and Limited-- somewhere in the mid-$40K’s.
