Thank goodness for Volkswagen. Despite adding utilities to their lineup at a rapid pace over the last few years, they have not forgotten the joy of driving a great sedan. In this case, it is their top sedan the Arteon that gets a nice freshening for 2021. The revised look, obviously very evolutionary, makes one of the best looking four-doors appear as sleek and stylish as anything on the road, including cars that cost many times as much. Up front it's much about lighting as a continuouse LED strip runs almost from fender to fender, and the revised bumper area with larger lower air intakes appear nicely agressive. VW has done more to the interior to improve the driving experience including an updated infotainment center with an 8.0-inch screen and a 700-watt output Harmon Kardon upgrade. Arteon now also supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. The 2.0-liter turbocharged 268-horsepower engine and 8-speed front-drive automatic are unchanged, as is optional all-wheel drive. Arteon is expected to arrive at VW dealers in November.
