2023 Jeep Wagoneer L & Grand Wagoneer L

Last year Jeep expanded their lineup with not one, but two 3-row SUVs.  This year, the news is even bigger with stretched Suburban-sized versions of the full-size Wagoneer.  The 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L and 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L gain about a foot of additional length, on a wheelbase stretched by 7-inches; and are available in both 7 and 8 passenger versions.

But, the bigger news is actually what’s under the hood; a twin-turbo inline-6.  A standard version found in the Wagoneer L boasts 420-horsepower and 468 lb-ft. of torque; while the Grand Wagoneer’s high-output version will deliver 510-horsepower and 500 lb-ft. of torque.  Both are rated to tow 10,000-lbs.

Passenger space was already more than generous, so the big benefit comes in cargo hauling; space behind the 3rd row grows from 28.4 to 44.2 cubic-ft., with a max of 131.

Both will go on sale this fall.

2023 Jeep Wagoneer Carbide

Jeep also unveiled a new Carbide trim package that will be available on Wagoneer this spring.  It features plenty of gloss black trim for the outside, as well as unique “technical hydrographic” dash trim for the inside.  Look for the Carbide treatment to make its way onto other Jeeps in the near future.

2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe High Altitude

In other trim-related news, Grand Cherokee 4xe buyers will be able to upgrade to a new High Altitude Package with unique 21-inch wheels, gloss black trim, and special Hydro Blue Pearl Coat paint.

 2023 Hyundai Palisade

No doubt the Hyundai Palisade has been a runaway success for the brand, and it looks to gain even more momentum with significant updates for 2023.

New exterior elements include a whole new face with bumper, grille, and headlights all updated; as well as a new rear fascia and upgraded multi-spoke alloy wheel designs.  Inside, a big upgrade in tech with a new instrument panel and a 12-inch navigation screen with higher resolution; plus, an Ergo Motion seat for the driver, a new steering wheel, and refined materials throughout.

Safety systems are upgraded too, with Remote Smart Parking Assist also now available.

2023 Kia Niro

While already exposed in native South Korea, the 2023 Kia Niro made its official North American debut.  This 2nd generation Niro will be available in Hybrid, PHEV, and full-EV versions.  There’s a slight increase in size over the current model, but same basic shape as before; and decidedly more SUV elements like a taller nose, flatter roof, and more body cladding integrated into the design. Inside, upscale meets avant-garde is the design theme; which means better tech, more premium materials, and class-leading interior space.  As before, a 1.6-liter I4 will power the Hybrid and PHEV.  The Hybrid has a combined output of 139-horsepower, with an expected combined rating of 53 miles-per-gallon.  The PHEV’s 11.1-kWh battery should deliver 33-miles of EV range, and boosts output to 180-horsepower.  While the EV gets a projected 253-mile range, with a 201-horsepower output.  All remain front-wheel-drive only, and will go on sale this fall.

2023 Kia Telluride

An updated Kia Telluride will also be arriving this fall.  There’s new styling inside and out; as well as upgraded tech, and more convenience features.  But, even more intriguing are the new X-Line and X-Pro models.  X-Line gets the adventure theme started with a new grille, beefier roof rails, 10mm worth of additional ground clearance, and 20-inch wheels.  X-Pro goes a step further with all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels, and a new Tow Mode that increases the tow rating from 5,000 to 5,500-lbs.

2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek

Nissan is bringing the Rock Creek package back to the Pathfinder.  The 2023 Pathfinder Rock Creek gets 18-inch beadlock-style wheels with all-terrain tires, retuned suspension with slightly more than half an inch of lift, tubular roof rack, and redesigned front fascia with a mesh V-motion grille; along with exclusive orange-stitched upholstery for the inside.

More power too; horsepower increases from 284 to 295, while torque gets an upgrade from 259 to 270 lb-ft.  It’s scheduled to arrive at Nissan dealers before the end of summer.

2023 Nissan Leaf

The original mainstream mass-market EV is still around; and for 2023, the 2nd generation Nissan Leaf gets some new style as well as a revised lineup.  Now available in S and SV Plus trims, the Leaf gets a revised front fascia with new grille, bumper trim, and headlights, along with an illuminated Nissan badge.  Aerodynamics have been improved with reshaped tire deflectors, as well as revisions to the rear spoiler and diffuser.  SV Plus trim adds new 5-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels along with gloss black trim for the interior.  The 2023 Nissan Leaf will go on sale this summer.

2022 Ford GT Holman Moody Heritage Edition

Since Ford re-launched the GT for 2017, they’ve been quietly releasing a steady stream of Heritage Editions.  The latest made its debut in New York, the 2022 Ford GT Holman Moody Heritage Edition.  This ultra-limited GT features exclusive Holman Moody Gold paint, and pays homage to Ford’s 1966 sweep at Le Mans.

Chrysler Airflow Graphite Concept

While we had hoped to see an actual Chrysler Airflow production model, Chrysler instead unveiled an alter-ego version of the previous Airflow Concept revealed at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show.  Chrysler announced back in January their intentions to launch its first fully-electric vehicle by 2025, and this Airflow Graphite Concept, with its Galaxy Black exterior and Cyprus Copper accents both inside and out, gives us another look at what the future may hold, as Chrysler goes fully electric by 2028.

2023 Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica

Lamborghini took the wraps off its latest Huracan variant, the 2023 Huracan Tecnica.  Using the STO’s 631–horsepower V10, the rear-wheel-drive lightweight Tecnica gets recalibrated driving modes; along with a unique suspension setup, rear-wheel steering, and improved brake cooling.

2023 Subaru Outback

A freshened up Subaru Outback is headed our way this fall.  The 2023 Outback gets an updated front fascia, as well as revised body cladding; along with safety and tech upgrades.  In addition, the Onyx Edition Outback is now available with the standard 182-horsepower 2.5-liter engine; so buyers no longer need to upgrade to the 260-horsepower 2.4-liter turbo just to get the blacked-out treatment.
