The TLX has only been in the Acura lineup for 5-years, but it has quickly established itself as second only to the NSX when it comes to pegging the Acura excitement meter.

A second generation 2021 TLX arrives this fall, with dynamic styling that finally matches the driving experience. The longer wheelbase proportions, exaggerated fender flares, and wide stance, all scream “Make way, high performance Acura coming through!”

An A-Spec Sport Package furthers the point with 19-inch wheels, blacked out trim, and rear deck-lid spoiler.

"A 2.0-liter turbo I4 will be standard; with 272-horsepower, that’s 66 more than the current TLX’s naturally-aspirated 2.4-liter 4-cylinder; and at 280 lb-ft. of torque, it’s 13 lb-ft. torque-ier than the optional 3.5-liter V6. So, it looks like turbo-4 for the win."

The TLX rides on an all-new chassis that Acura promises is a much more rigid foundation, onto which they were able to build a more sophisticated suspension, resulting in an overall sharper response to steering inputs.

Inside, things are driver-focused, as a sport sedan should be; with the high-tech luxury vibe that Acura nails better than most.

The 2021 TLX will be available this fall with prices starting around $35,000. But, if you can hold off satisfying your high-performance Acura cravings until next Spring, your patience will be rewarded with this 2021 TLX Type S; which not only features an all-new 3.0-liter V6 turbo engine, but introduces Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive into the Type S mix for the first time.

Stay tuned, as we’ll have much more on the 2021 Acura TLX soon!
