Jeep has announced two new exterior paint options for the 2023 Wrangler: “Earl” and “Reign.”

Both of these colors are available on all Wrangler models-- Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, 4xe and 392-- as well as the new Freedom Edition models. Customers may select these colors on their chosen builds as of now.

Earl, as the name might suggest, is a shade of gray with hints of aquamarine embedded in it. Earl originally made its debut in 2020 on the Gladiator Farout concept and is now offered as a production color on the Wrangler lineup for the first time. It plans to stick around for the entire production year. This is not the case for Reign, available for a limited time in 2023-- now through October. Reign is actually a return of Purple, which was available on 2018’s JK Wrangler.

“We received a lot of positive feedback on Earl when it debuted on the Gladiator Farout concept, and we work to deliver what our customers tell us they want,” said Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America. “These limited-run colors like Earl and Reign draw a huge enthusiast following because they’re exciting, authentic and stand out, much like the Jeep community.”

Earl will cost an additional $395, whereas Reign will cost $495. These colors join Firecracker Red, High Velocity, Hydro Blue, Sarge Green, Silver Zynith, Sting Gray, Granite Crystal, Bright White and Black for 2023.
