MINI USA has added another special edition package to their 2022 lineup: the MINI Brick Lane Edition.

The Brick Lane Edition will be available on the 2022 Cooper S Hardtop, both the 2- and 4-door variants. This will be the fourth special edition MINI to be added to this year’s catalog, following the recent news of the MINI Resolute, Untold and Untamed editions.

Inspired by London’s Heart of the East End, home of vibrant street art, the Brick Lane Edition is said to have “individuality as its trademark.” The body’s primary color is a White Silver Metallic lacquer, topped off by a Soul Blue roof. Across the bonnet and each side, Soul Blue, Frozen Blue and Mint graphics add further contrast.

Additional exterior trimmings include black mirror caps, miscellaneous chrome trim pieces, side scuttle inlays, C-pillar decals, and a set of special Brick Lane wheel center caps. Those wheel caps sit on 17-inch Tentacle Spoke Black wheels wrapped in all-season tires.

Inside, a mixture of premium materials and options are standardized. The sport seats, for example, are made in Carbon Black Cross Punch leather (and heated), complemented by additional Piano Black surfaces. The Nappa Leather steering wheel is also heated. Above the cabin is the anthracite headliner and standard panoramic moonroof.

A Harman/Kadon sound system and additional Storage Package are thrown in; other tech includes MINI’s Touchscreen Navigation Plus Package, which includes MINI Assist eCall, a heads-up display, Apple CarPlay, wireless charging and a Dynamic Digital Instrument Cluster.

The choice of a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox is left to the consumer. The dual clutch automatic can be shifted in manual mode via paddle shifters. The 2022 Mini Cooper S is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine, capable of 189 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque.

The MINI Brick Lane Edition will start at $36,525 for the 2-door and $37,525 for the 4-door, destination included. They are expected to arrive in dealerships mid-March 2022.
